Lip Balm for the Girls

Like I said yesterday, once I got started on the Lip Balm train I couldn't stop! After looking at Pinterest for inspiration I came up with these for the girls in the gift group. I am pretty partial to this little lady bug. Take a look at your images, all you have to do is make one and punch a hole in it.

Lip Balm Gifts

This week I am showing you my Valentine's for this year. Back at Christmas I saw lots of these EOS lip balms being used as gifts. I missed the bus on the Christmas ones, but I made myself a note for Valentines. Once I started making these I was on a roll. I really just looked at my cricut image books and went to town. I think I could have kept going, but I ran out of lip balm. So for this one I cut a black circle and then used a
1 3/8"  hole punch. Below you can see the parts I used. You will also see a tag in that picture I thought I would put the words on that, but went a different direction.
So I was thinking about this circle- you could do an olive. Or even an egg. An egg would be great for Easter.
So watch the rest of the week for a few more ideas.

Make Cards with your PML cards

I took a few of the Live Your Day cards and cut them up with my paper trimmer. I created a couple of great cards that are really stunning with just a little bit of work.
By cutting up the cards I have great card bases that just require a little bit of embellishments. I used some of the new gold puffy stickers as well as new stamps and THIN CUTS! Yep, brand new product!!

Picture My Life Cards as a Calendar

The smaller cards in the CTMH National Paper Crafting Special are perfect for lists- the 1st being the birthday list! I made my month cards and birthday cards into a birthday calendar by gluing them back to back. I then punched a hole at the top and added a ring/ribbon. This is the perfect way to keep track of birthdays each year. Here is the info on the special.

Picture My Life Cards in my Planner

This week I want to focus on the CTMH Special. January is National Paper Crafting Month and it's a wonderful deal for you!
Celebrate National Papercrafting Month with the exclusive Picture My Life™ Live Your Day scrapbooking program—available for one month only! This collection was designed to coordinate perfectly with the sensational Everyday Life™ 2016 Planner Pages and My Crush® Everyday Life Pages, so you can seamlessly integrate pocket scrapbooking into your 2016 planner. Whether in the planner or on their own, these cards make it easy to preserve your everyday moments all year long. Get yours today for only $8.95 before this offer is gone!
Dates: Offer valid January 1, 2016 (9:00 am MDT)–January 31, 2016 (11:59 pm MDT).
To start with I used one of the 4x6 cards to decorate the Febuary cover paper of my CTMH planner. With just a little bit of washi tape and a few paper clips I am ready to go.
Below you can see that I used one of the large 4x6 card to decorate my planner again. I cut the card apart and added it to the date squares in my planner.
You can also see that I used another one of the larger cards as an inspiration card for the week. I simply punched holes in the card and added it to my planner.

The small of the cards in the Special are great for shopping lists like I used or to list great things that happened in January.
Think Resolutions, Goals and they are perfect for journaling!

Cluster on Layouts

Make sure you click this picture so you can see this layout up close. To start off, look how many pictures this layout will hold! How perfect would it be for a wedding, prom or anniversary party. The key to using the new compliments from CTMH is to cluster them. One is cute, Two is great but adding 5 or 6 together gives the best bang for your buck. You can see below that I have used them in several places on this layout.

A sweet little teepee

Along with the deer horns, teepee's have become trendy. Pinterest is full of pictures of teepee's that have flowers at the top. So that's where the inspiration for this project comes from.
For this card I used the arrow compliments as little charms on the card. I used my small hole punch to make a hole and then I tied a ribbon through them.
I had lots of creating this Be Brave Banner, although it didn't photograph well. These teepee's on the banner a little larger than the card, so I was able to cut the overlay part of the teepee on the cricut. I used the new thin cuts from CTMH to cut the flowers and leaves.
I added a few of the La Vie En Rose Compliments to the letters for accents.
Wouldn't this Be Brave be cute in a baby's room!

Use Your Compliments on Cards

This week I want to show you some projects using the La Vie En Rose Compliments! The compliments are quickly shooting to the top of my list of favorite products. When you first see them its a little over whelming what you should do with them, but the answer is cluster! In the card above I used several of the heart shapes to cluster. I also painted a few hearts cut from watercolor paper. I combined them all in a cluster in the middle of the kraft brackets.
Another thing I like to do is look at the shapes and see what I can come up with. In the card below I saw those long shapes and I instantl thought of text messages. The great thing is that the new CTMH cricut cartridge cuts a cell phone! I made the image into a card for Valentine's Day!
