Easter Treats!

I received a package of Starburst in one of my Valentine treats, and while working on my Easter cards from yesterday I thought that could make a little matchbook to hold them.
I colored each of the images different with colored pencils, I think I like the grey bunnies best.
The measurements are 3x7.5"
Score at .75", 4", and 4.25". I used staples at the bottom (and you can see that I didn't line them up very good.) to close the flap, but you could use ribbon or even brads.

I used glue dots to attach the Starburst and covered them with a little square of Cardstock.

CPS Sketch Little Bird

Here is my card for this weeks CPS Sketch. I really enjoyed this sketch, I think it can be used over and over. When I saw the branch on the sketch I knew that I wanted to use the branch from the CTMH rub-ons. To make the nest, I cut long small strips of cardstock and then crinkled them up. I use several glue dots to attach the nest.

Scraplings

My blog friend Sparkle always makes these cute little cards card scraplings.
You can see hers here.
What is a scrapling? When you trim a standard size card down to 4x4 you are left with a 1.5 x 4.25" scrap of card-which makes the scrapling. ETA:They can be used as cards, bookmarks or gift tags!
Over the weekend I made some 4x4 Easter cards, and saved the scraplings, and these are what I came up with.

Feb. Operation Smile Project-Mini Office

Your going to LOVE this months project for Operation Smile!

This template is super easy, and I think it can be turned into lots of other things!

In addition, I have had lots of emails about using the templates for classes, and this one can be used for that too!

Keep reading to find out how to get your copy of the template!

Everything folds up nice and neat inside and can be secured with the optional band!

For the top part of the inside flaps I used the new Confidential stamp set to create some clipboard clamps. I think this would be a good place to write import phone # to places you call often. For me that is where I would write Pizza Hut's number!! The middle section is just a stack of copy paper cut down and attached with a prong and slider from the office supply store.

One the entire mini office opens up, I have added a pocket for stamps, a calendar and a post it note!
I think instead of a mini office, this simple project could be turned into a mini album or a card holder for 5x5 cards and envelopes.

The band and pen are optional-And I decorated the pen to match!
How do you get your Mini Office Template?
Visit my Etsy store at www.kabrown63.etsy.com
and for a $1.00 donation to Operation Smile I will email you a PDF of the template and all the pictures!

PS-A new Operation Smile project is will be posted in the morning!! This one is really easy and useful!

Try this-Blinds

In a recent newsletter from Paper Craft Planet they gave instructions for a Window Blind Card. I thought their sample was so cute, so I had to give a try. I didn't have the long rectangle die cut, so I had to use the short rectangle. I had fun doing it, and I think you should all give it a try! (If you do, send me a link so I can see!!)

Happy Everything

I have always enjoyed the Color feature over at KWernerDesign, but I have never tried one, ( it was one of my goals for 09 to do more challenges) this will be the first of many I hope! Of course the colors are from Stampin Up, so I matched the best I could using CTMH! I first I thought it was such a odd combo that I thought I might have to leave the blue off, but as the stamp pads sat stacked together the combo grew on me.

Felt flower

Awhile back I made this project, and used my cuttlebug to cut the twill fabric and wondered if I could cut felt just as easy?
