Wait...

I thought I would share a scrapbook page. This is a page about my little Dixie and her toys that got a bath. She is my little baby and I love her more than anything, but she has no patience or self-control.

Something New

I think I will try something new-

Wild Wednesday

Here is how it will work. I will randomly pick 2 stamp sets from all my boxes, and randomly(by closing my eyes and pointing) pick one color of stamp pad. After picking all of those, I will then look at the CTMH color combo guide and add 2 additional colors for the project. Then post what I create here for you to enjoy, or laugh-(whatever seems fitting) every Wednesday.

2 random stamps-Star Struck and Little Fill-ups with jar (retired), Random color-Sunny Yellow, added colors-Kiwi and Bubblegum

So I think I got lucky this time-"stars" and "Catch a Star!" I would love to see what you can make with these 2 stamps. If you have pull them out and give it a try!! Post a link to your card if you want.

B-I-N-G-O

I made this cute little game for a Birthday gift. (I'm sure he will like the jelly beans more than the game) . I downloaded the template for bingo off the Internet, and random stamped 4 playing boards. I then printed off rows of BINGO for the caller pieces and stamp them as well. I punched the caller pieces with a 1.25" circle punch. I plan on having all of it laminated to protect the game. The jelly beans are for marking the squares, but after they are gone you could use buttons, or squares of colored paper.
***Edit*** by request, I have added the template for bingo, the one I had been emailing is not working for some reason.

St. Patrick's Box and instructions

Here is a super easy box that would be great filled up with all sorts of thing. Below you will find the step by step instructions.

Start with a sheet of Cardstock 11.75 x 11.75. Score one side at 1", 4.25", 7.5" and 10.75".

Turn the cardstock the other direction, and make the same sore marks. 1", 4.25", 7.5" and 10.75".

Using your craft knife or paper trimmer remove the 4 corners of the page, leaving just a cross. See the picture for more details.

Using the corner rounder make scallops on all four 1" flaps.
At this time you can stamp your box. Remember to turn your image the correct direction, so that when you fold up you box sides the image is facing the right direction.

On each side of each box flap mark and punch 2 holes. In the picture you can see that I punched at 1.25" and 2.25". I also used a small hole punch that makes a 1/16" hole.
Each flap has 4 holes, so you need to punch 16 holes total.
Use ribbon, fibers or hemp to tie up the sides. Fill with your favorite treat!

Cards for the Troops

This year I wanted to do something that would "make a difference". You know use my talent for good. I have been trying to come up with something for a while, when it hit me!
~~CARDS.
I am sure there are not lots of places to buy a card in Iraq, so my plan is to help soldiers have cards to send back home to their loved ones.
Right now I am working on Mother's Day cards. (with the time it takes to get a package overseas starting early is a must)
If you would like to help, I will gladly send your cards too!! Email me at kabrown63@hotmail.com and I will send you more details.
I do have a contact to send them to, and I know he/they will take any occasion card, but Mother's Day was the main request.

Hello card and tin

I found these cute little tin boxes and ordered them awhile ago. I almost forgot about them until I was digging around looking for something else. There is nothing in the box now, but I think it would be good for candy, or a few pair of earrings or even some little cards. This box is the small size 1.25 x 2.5
Correction** I used the Large Box 2 x 3.1 Size

a friend is....

I thought yall might be missing me, after a few days with no posts!! This is a great gift tag made with the Big Pinks Flower. I also used the Pearl Paint on the edges, it gives it a nice shinny touch on the sides. The color is Hollyhock. You think I would be tired of pink after all that Valentine's stuff, but I don't think I could ever get tired of pink!!!
I just got back from the movies. If you haven't seen "Fool's Gold" it is great!!

Countdown: Valentine's Day

Well I made it, Valentine's Day!!! This was the very 1st card I made, and I was going to make one for everyone on my card list, untill I thought about much postage it was going to cost
(size 6x6). So I made about 5 of them.

I read in the paper this morning that Valentine's day should be renamed "Single awareness Day" and I thought that was funny.

Hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day!!

Countdown: 2

This little baggie of goodies was one of the first things I made, and I made bunches of them. The ribbon, ink, bag and tag are from CTMH. The stamps are from Papertreyink. The set is Limitless labels How cool is this to have a stamp that fits perfectly on those avery address labels!

Countdown: 3

On this card I tried to make a card that could double as a card for anytime-

The circles at the bottom are rub ons from CTMH. I am learning to like these, you just have to learn the tricks for using them.

Countdown: 4

This is a quick and simple card. I sent out several of these this year, so some of you may have already seen it.

Countdown: 5

This is my favorite thing from all the projects I have made for Valentine's Day. I have tons of these tubes around, I have stored buttons in them, flowers, ribbon, spirals, and colored pencils. But it seems that they just keep on multipling. This is a good way to get rid of them. Giving them away! I just love how the patties fit perfectly inside!

I think this card just speaks for itself. I really like how this new paper goes well with just a "pop" of color.

We have a winner

Countdown: 8

I just think this would make the cutest gifts for a child to give to classmates for Valentine's. Lip smakers for the girls, and chapstick for the boys!

Super simple to make, and they use just a little paper and ribbon. And the "Crazy 4 You" just goes along with all the other lingo these days, like BFF!

Check back tomorrow for a new project!

Countdown: 9

Chocolate covered stawberries anyone? I used paint and re-inker to make the "chocolate", If I was to do this again I think I would just use brown paint. The re-inker is starting to eat through the paper. (I used lots of re-inker trying to get dark brown, and the paint never really got the color I wanted)
The strawberry stamps come from
everything else is CTMH.

Countdown: 10

How about a treat for your child's teacher. This package of popcorn is covered with cardstock and decorated with ribbon. The font is from the CTMH font CD. (One of the things I love about CTMH). Enjoy.

Countdown: 11

How about some 3-D hearts!! These hearts come from a die cut, and I added the sparkles. To get the hearts on the black cardstock, I traced them with the stylus on the back side of the paper and then sanded.

Check back tomorrow for another Valentine's Project!

Countdown:13

Here is a super cute and fun candy holder!! If you want the pattern and instructions check here
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/pull_treats

Ok, I will be back on Sunday-So this post is for Saturday. See ya then!!

Countdown:14

OK, it's finally here, the countdown. For this card I used pink carnation paper. This is one of the best things about white core paper, sanding! I ran the paper through the cuttlebug, and then sanded it to get the white look. The from the heart tag is hug with the Paper Tagger. A tool kinda like what they use to put a price tag on clothing. I think it looks like the tiny little gun from "Men in Black" that Tommy Lee Jones gave to Will Smith.
Check back soon for a new post!!
